This guide walks through choosing a market, reading the trading screen, placing market and limit orders, and selling an asset you already hold.

Spot trading on Nado works much like buying a stock through a brokerage app — you’re buying the asset directly and it appears in your portfolio.

How do you choose a spot market on Nado?

Click Spot to see the assets available for spot trading. Depending on availability, this may include crypto assets such as kBTC and wETH, as well as tokenized stocks such as SPYx, QQQx, and AAPLx.

Some markets show a Boost label, which means trading that market may earn additional Nado Points — loyalty points earned through eligible activity on the platform. Any future use or rewards tied to these points depend on the official Nado Points program terms.

How do you read the trading screen?

On the left is the price chart, showing how the asset’s price has moved over time. You can change the candle timeframe (one-minute, thirty-minute, one-hour, four-hour, or daily) and zoom in or out to view different periods.

The chart helps you understand past price movement, but it cannot tell you with certainty where the price will go next.

What is the difference between a market order and a limit order?

On the right side of the screen you choose your order type:

Market Order

Buys immediately at the best available price Fastest execution Final price may vary slightly

Limit Order

Buys only at a price you set May not fill immediately You control the exact price

Placing a market buy order

Make sure Market is selected, then enter how much you want to buy. You can switch between entering the amount of the asset (such as kBTC) or the USDT0 value you want to spend. Review the estimated amount and fees, then click Buy. After the order fills, the asset appears in your portfolio.

Placing a limit buy order

Select Limit, enter the price you want to buy at (type it or click a level on the chart), then enter the amount. The order only executes if the market reaches your price and there’s enough liquidity. You may also see Time in Force (TIF) settings such as GTC, IOC, FOK, and Good Until — for beginners, the default is usually the easiest starting point.

How do you sell an asset on Nado?

Select the market for the asset you want to sell and click Sell. Enter the amount manually or use the percentage selector (25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%). Just like buying, you can choose a market sell order (sells immediately at the best price) or a limit sell order (sells only at a minimum price you set). Review the amount, estimated value, and fees, then confirm.

Key takeaways

  • Choose a spot market, then decide between a market order (speed) or limit order (price control).

  • You can enter orders by asset amount or by USDT0 value.

  • Fractional buying lets you invest a set dollar amount rather than buying a full unit.

  • Sell using the same order types, with a percentage selector to choose how much to sell.
